Amazing hotel, with an even more amazing staff! Genuinely helpful, right from the front-desk to travel-desk to housekeeping to restaurant staff to doormen, to the young lady who gave me and my family a wonderful guided tour of the grand historic palace wing of the hotel on our final day! A very memorable stay for my whole family across our three rooms. (A special mention - Due to an error in facilities stated by the hotel on Booking.com, I had booked 3 rooms on the first floor (after verifying if the hotel facilities included a lift which my elderly parents needed, which was stated as available). I had also requested for my 3 rooms together as my parents had limited mobility due to their age, and would need us younger family members to be close to them. The next day the hotel inboxed me on booking.com to say that the rooms I had booked were not accessible by lift as the heritage property offered no lift at all. I wrote back with a screenshot showing that I had booked the first floor super-deluxe rooms only after checking the given availability of a lift, and it was not possible for me to now book the much steeper-priced ground floor rooms. The hotel was kind and courteous enough to say that since it was a stated error on their part, they would immediately make it up to me and upgrade all my rooms to the super-deluxe category on the ground floor at no extra cost. I really appreciate the Lalit hotel for this thoughtfulness.) The service level and warmth of the staff here through my stay was simply exceptional! Special mention of the immensely helpful and pleasant duty manager, Mr. Imran.

It is a very beautiful property with historical significance . The entire staff is very efficient, polite and friendly. A special mention of Mr Irshad who promptly upgraded us into another room when we told him about the television in the room which was not working properly. The gardeners who smilingly told us everything about the Tulip plants . The room service is prompt and efficient. The gym is well equipped. During our early morning check out , when our airline suddenly preponed the departure, the staff helped us promptly at 5.30 am with our luggage and the front desk manager did rapid check out and also kept our breakfast pack ready . I would recommend everyone to stay in this hotel and look forward to visiting again.

Our stay at the Lalit Grand Palace was truly special. Right from the time we arrived at the hotel till we reached the airport. The team at Lalit Srinagar did everything and beyond to make our stay safe, comfortable and delightful. The things that stay with you are the warmth and hospitality of the entire team be it security, room service, restaurant or reception teams including the chauffeurs. The location is amazing, just a stone throw away from Dal Lake and hosted in a palace with beautiful spacious rooms. Food is great too.

The location is excellent with close proximity to the Dal lake & other prominent landmarks. The brightest part is the restaurant staff especially Walsrino,Shristi, Chef Sudarshan, Jasudev. They are all doing an excellent job & going the extra mile to ensure that each & every one is well attended at the restaurant.

We had requested for ground floor room but as the same were unavailable, we were gladly upgraded to higher category on the ground floor. As two senior citizens needed wheel-chair assistance all through the stay the same was gladly provided all through the stay. Room service was prompt and good.
